Four Decades of Hospitality.

One Family.

Since 1988, the Henry family has been welcoming guests like they’re part of our own. What started as a neighborhood restaurant has grown into one of New Jersey’s most trusted destinations for dining, weddings, and celebrations

A Legacy Earned

We didn’t walk into this business. We were built by it—one kitchen, one event, one relationship at a time.

This is our story.

1988 | The Beginning

John Henry’s Restaurant Opens John Henry Sr. and his sons, John Henry Jr. & Gary Henry, opened a neighborhood Italian-American restaurant in Chambersburg, NJ. The philosophy was simple: treat every guest like they were sitting at the family Sunday table. They did—for over two decades.

2000 | The Expansion

From the Restaurant to the Room As demand grew, John Henry Jr. took the operation offsite—catering large-scale events at legendary local venues. These high-volume, high-stakes productions built the operational discipline most hospitality operators never develop. We learned how to execute perfection before we ever had a home of our own.

2010 | A Home of Our Own

The Birth of The Stone Terrace The family finally found the perfect canvas: an estate that could house both the precision of our catering and the warmth of our hospitality. The Stone Terrace was born, becoming the backdrop for thousands of weddings and the heartbeat of Hamilton’s celebratory life.

2010 – 2024 | Serving Hamilton & Beyond

Fifteen Years of Showing Up The Stone Terrace grew into one of Mercer County's most established hospitality landmarks—a home for weddings, banquets, and a neighborhood restaurant with regulars who have been coming for decades. We proved that you can handle high volume without sacrificing the soul of the service. Through every shift, family remained the heartbeat of the operation.

Today | The Next Generation

Heritage Meets Horizon Today, the legacy continues with a new energy. We’re refining the details, refreshing the spaces, and doubling down on what makes us different: our family. Whether you’re a lifelong regular or a first-time guest, you aren't just walking into a venue—you're walking into our home.
